All the comments about how poor season 8 is and blaming it on the producers is such sheep mentality for a show about wolves and dragons. NO ONE stopped watching at the time, the season finale had the most viewers of any episode of the series and each epp. had >10 million viewers. The loudest voices have mad it out to be so much worse than it is. Now while I do think the first 6 seasons were better but I also think they were intended to be the slow buildup to the more theatrical conclusion to the story. I think most fans were more into the slow building of the world than the dramatic finish. While the producers may not have pulled it off as well as we all would have liked, they did land the plane in the end and close out the story. It is likely the only end to the story we will get. And for those that don’t like the ending, it is the ending that GRR intended. This is Westeros, you aren’t supposed to like everything. I do wish the producers took up HBO on the offer for more episodes or seasons but by the time they offered, season 8 was already written. They would have had to go back and re-write nearly everything if they were adding that much more in and having to have it signed off on by GRR. It would have been another year writing, year filming and it would have been 3 years between seasons 7+8 and then another 2 between 8+9. Would I have loved another season to tell the story? Yes. Do I blame the producers and actors for not taking another 4 years off their life? No. And for those who haven’t read the books, the world is even broader with even more story lines than at the end of season 5/6. If GRR finishes the story, it will either be in 4 more books or just as rushed as the show. I don’t think his “writer’s block” is an inability to write within the story, it’s that he has created a giant world with a huge following and tying everything back together while doing the story justice is a monumental task. He is an amazing writer, I think this world just got away from him and his vision of how much time he needs to tie everything together.

Just want to add, you should definitely start thinking about watching the Game of Thrones prequel show ‘House of the Dragon’. The show just started this past year and was a huge success. In addition to it just being an amazing show, it also adds a lot of context to GoT as well. For sure worth it.

No popular reaction channel has done it yet, and there are tons and tons of us fans out there who would tune in. Just google ‘Twin Peaks best show ever’ and you’ll see what I mean. Leo you’re my favorite human being. You got a little mixed up, others already explained that Cersei lied about sending her armies to the north and Jaime took off on his own to help out of honor. A true indication of how much he’s changed and grown as a man of honor over the entire series. Crazy that Cersei actually ordered his death along with Tyrion, as they always loved just one another and their children. This is where the plot kind of starts to fall apart sadly. Yes, adjust the brightness on whatever device you’re watching on, you will struggle to see anything the whole season. Jaime was fooled by Cersei, he was with the lords preparing to ride north, when Cersei pulled him aside, called him stupid and revealed she lied. So Jaime said fuck that and ride north solo to fight alongside the north. Cersei sent Bronn to secretly kill Jaime and Tyrion, knowing Bronn can just walk in and be welcomed. Also, remember Brann just said to Samwell, I’m waiting for an old friend? Yeah, he was waiting for Jaime 🤣

Cersie didn’t send Jamie to winterfell. After Jamie found out that she wasn’t sending the army to help with the white walkers he said he made a vow to fight for them so he left and headed to winterfell. She sent bronn after him to have him killed for treason because he left.

Cersei gave Bronn the crossbow, so Bronn could kill Tyrone, if Tyrone doesn't die by the White Walkers. The crossbow was originally Joffrey's and Tyrone used it to kill his father Tywin. Qyburn (Cersei's new Hand) told Bronn as he gave him the crossbow that Cersei favored "poetic justice" (that Tyrone be killed by that which he used to kill their father). Even though Jaime told Cersei that Lady Glenna poisoned Joffrey, Cersei still hates Tyrone for many reasons, the least of which is that Cersei believes Tyrone killed their mother since their mother died from the childbirth. Fun side theory: many book readers believe that Tyrone's father was not actually Tywin Lannister, since many believe Tyrone's mother Joanna Lannister either had an affair with King Aerys Targaryen, the Mad King and Daenerys' father or the Mad King raped her. it was said the Mad King had a crush on Joanna Lannister. Cersei told Tyrone she was going to send her army to help fight the White Walkers, but then later told Jaime that she wouldn't. Jaime knew Cersei was wrong, so he left King's Landing on his own to go to Winterfell to join the fight against the White Walkers and their wights.

Jamie was against this he was not going to break a promise. so jamie walked away from cersei and he traveled north on his own, not with the lannister army, to help fight the dead.

Go into advanced picture setting and adjust the black level. You'll never see most of Episode 3 if you don't. Which is the feeling they want you to have, but you miss a lot. Brightness and contrast adjust don't really fix it.
