I'd recommend The Boys, or House of the Dragon for the next series to watch, but there are a lot of great suggestions. I'm ready for whatever comes next!

That ending, and most of the episode was straight from the game. There’s a vid on YouTube, episode 9 and the game side by side comparison and it’s so close. The next show to pickup has to be The Boys. Insane show. You’re gonna love it, it’s batshit crazy. Also, you might like Black Mirror, it’s a show with standalone episodes, exploring what ifs in terms of society. Really cool show. Other than that, The Wire is real good, it’s a detective/streets show, showing both sides of the law with truly iconic characters. The Sopranos is also untouchable, a new jersey mafia show. Considered the OG of modern TV shows that paved the way. Probably the best show ever created. House of the Dragon is also incredible, it’s a show in the Game of Thrones universe, set 200 years before Daenerys. It’s all about her ancestors, the Targaryen’s.

Ellie would 100% die in the surgery, so Joel made the selfish choice to keep her to himself and then the story ends with him committing to that with that lie of "I swear". It's a bittersweet ending. Our character remain alive and together, at the cost of the future of the world. Anyways, THE BOYS next?
