Rob, Charlie and Glenn were all friends for years by the time they put the pilot together for this show. They've all lived with each other at one point or another. Thats why they work so well together. And then Danny fitting in was easy, because by all accounts hes a really great guy and sort of took them in like his adopted kids haha. And then even most of the main side characters are all a part of the friend group... like Cricket had been friends with them for a while, Charlie was already married to The Waitress, who lead them to meet Artemis, ect ect. Oh, and Kaitlin actually did her own stunt running into the car door after stealing the shoes... she kinda fucked up her neck and back doing it lol.
