Just to make it short and sweet for ya. The older Spider-Man movies are technically not canon until the new spider movie. Spider-Man no way home will introduce the existence of the multiverse. Parallel universes, slightly different from our own. So that is what will tie the older Spider-Man movies to No Way Home. So I know it’s a little confusing but I promise you bud. If you watch the older ones first, you will appreciate No Way Home infinitely more.

You heard of the Ten Rings back in the first Iron Man. They were the group that kidnapped him in the cave. If it weren't for them, we'd have no Iron Man or MCU. In the comics, the 10 rings were like regular finger rings with specific stones in each one. But Marvel didn't want to make it easily confusing with the Infinity Stones, so turned them into bracelets for the MCU. You must watch the other 5 Spider-Man movies with Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield first before watching No Way Home. Yes it will be work, but it will be SOOOOO worth it after. We can't tell you why or it will spoil it. Just trust us!

Also, don’t worry about what you might get or not get. A lot of us might be comic geeks that read all this stuff as kids or adults. Some watch breakdowns on YouTube. We all just love your honest and genuine reactions. Anyone who gives you a hard time isn’t a true fan of your work and sometimes you find things a lot of missed. I watched breaking bad a few times and never got the waterfall looking like the meth until you pointed it out.

Love Shang-Chi and IMHO the most beautifully shot action sequences in the MCU. I couldn't blink during the fight scenes. And yeah, in order to fully understand and appreciate No Way Home, you do have to be familiar with all the previous Spider-Man movies. Even I had to go back and watch them all because I'd forgotten about most of them, but it was worth it.
