Im sure its been recommended already, but check out "El Camino" - it's a full "breaking bad" movie about what Jesse did / where he went right after the events of the show. It's like an epilogue for the series.

I always felt the same about BrBa writing, and stopped watching BCS after a few episodes because I thought it was heading into the same rhythm. It's been a relief to hear nothing but good things about the show, now I'm just waiting to watch it with Leo.

Thankful it's over, now onto the good stuff. I'm of course in the very small minority that thinks BCS is leagues better than BB. If the studio/directors/network or whoever is in charge of renewing seasons were on the same page the show would have been so much better imo. I hate the stop/start or up/down tone of the episodes. It's like they never knew if they would be cancelled which makes no sense to me considering how much of a massive run this show went on originally and even after with its cult like following.

Flynn's Palsy is real. He is really terrific in this, especially the scene with the knife. Also the scene where Walt tells of Skylar viciously on the phone; Cranston manages with his face alone to portray the pain he feels in saying these things. Even the parts that might be layered with truth from his ego, they are said to keep Skylar looking innocent. Just such great performances throughout the show honestly. Hank's death scene still hits hard. So does Walt stealing Holly. Top to bottom, amazing cast. Amazing show. They even stick the ending. Beautiful storytelling. I am glad you enjoyed it! I was worried once upon a time you would not come back to it. Love your work Leo! Cannot wait to see you react to El Camino and Better Call Saul.

To answer your question about Holly saying “mama” on queue, it wasn’t planned. The baby just so happened to say it during the scene and it was perfect. There’s a whole documentary on the show you should definitely watch on your own when you have some free time. The writers, directors, producers, and actors all talk about the scenes and their experience on the show. Highly recommend. Also the on the phone call between Walt and Skylar, Walt knows the line is tapped and is trying to get her and the kids off free so they don’t have to deal with the mess he’s left them. Glad I got to rewatch this incredible show while simultaneously seeing your reaction to it. Take as much time as you need before going on to El Camino and Better Call Saul, although I do recommend at least starting them while Breaking Bad is still fresh in your mind.
