Spiderman Reaction

Arguably the best spiderman movie in my opinion. A lot of people say Spiderman 2 is the best but this one is just as iconic to me. Also, I kinda wish they'd kept MJ's red hair color in this one rather than the one she has in the other 2 movies. And yeah she did annoy me a lil bit in parts throughout the trilogy. I always hated that Peter was the one always there for her and she didn't really see it until the end of the movie. Well actually I take that back. She did see it when they talked in their back yard about her wanting to be an actor. But then she goes and dates his "best friend" (who's really not a great friend, and Peter didn't see it because he doesn't know any better) instead, when she didn't even like him that much.

I also haven't seen this movie in 15-20 years. On this watch through, it was pretty good, but it really hasn't held up well over time. It looks a lot older than 2002, and some of the stuff in it is pretty cheesy. Looking forward to Spidey 2.

My only real complaint rewatching these remains: It's hard to believe Tobey or any of the other actors are high school kids. They casted a bunch of 30 year olds, they should have just put Peter in college lol.

I don't usually recommend horror films because lets be honest theres only a couple worth recommending. However I really recommend watching The Wailing, a korean horror film. Hopefully its not too much for you Leo as I remember you saying some topics made you uncomfortable. Its a great movie though, will keep you on your toes.
