They used real Broadway performers to be a part of that Rodgers the Musical play. That is the play they were at watching. There were plenty of signs outside the theater for it. The dog is from the comics, known as Lucky the Pizza Dog. Yes, Tracksuit Mafia. They always dress in red tracksuits and say "bro" a lot. They are written/created to be corny and goofy. The name "Grills" is from the comics.
