Bro it’s based on a true story. BASED. Most people know fiction is thrown in to make it more entertaining and easy to understand by an audience.

2024-03-19 03:38:19 +0000 UTCI apologize, but I feel that inaccuracies should be addressed: SEALs don’t go from BUD/S to sniper school. They train from BUD/S to jump school to SF (Special Forces) to SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape). Then they may move on to specialized training if the team accepts and they display proficiency. No one goes from BUD/S directly to sniper training. Another flaw: Navy recruiters very rarely will wear dress blues and sure as Hell won’t wear them in summer in Texas.

2023-07-14 10:20:52 +0000 UTCI read his book as soon as it hit shelves and it is a great read, I highly recommend it. There is so much more in the book than what was in the movie. It's okay that you didn't know who he was because now you do and now you know he really was the best American sniper in history and that also included that 2100 yard shot but it wasn't another sniper he took out but a guy with a rocket launcher that was about to blow up soldiers. Throughout the movie, his real wife worked with the actors so they would truly know how he behaved, spoke etc so it would feel like you were actually watching him. So many people came to his funeral that they had to have it in the football stadium to sit so many. He truly was a legend and a hero. RIP Chris. 🇺🇲
