I also always liked Strider in this movie because while being of noble birth he comes off as a man who has truly lived the life of a foul ranger in this version

2023-08-06 03:07:57 +0000 UTCRegarding Saruman/Aruman: Originally the studio was worried that people would get Saruman confused with Sauron because they had similar names, so they called him Aruman instead. But the director Ralph Bakshi wanted to stay true to the book, so halfway through production he changed it back to Saruman... but didn't fix the voice lines where he was called Aruman. It was kind of a messy situation.
