2023-10-15 19:15:22 +0000 UTCThis movie is essentially a parody of the Star Trek fandom and the Star Trek convention culture and how the actors could never escape the roles once they'd played them. They could never just move on to another phase of their career, it became the defining role of their entire life. I've been a Trek fan for ages, I recently got my best friend to finally agree to watch Star Trek TNG and now he is a huge fan and wants to go to a convention. We're going to the big convention in Vegas next August ;)
