Happy Halloween!

The month of October always ends with spooky festivities... and a lot of costume parties! In a not-so-scary twist, our cast of adventurers set out to decipher the mystery of a strange tome found in a strange temple... and also struggle to stay in character!

In some unknown temple in Faerûn...

Shadowheart: "This must be the goddess' knowledge tome..."
History roll check... ... ... PASS!
Shadowheart: "It seems to be referencing some... ancient outfit."
Shadowheart: "Armor, maybe?"
Shadowheart: "Maybe Tav should have a look, hmm..."
Lae'zel: "Tch! This is nothing but a temple dedicated to the ghaik, how you don't see that is beyond me!"
Lae'zel: "If I had a list of the brightest minds around, your name wouldn't be on it, Shadowheart."

Shadowheart: "Well, I'm stumped. Any idea, Minthara?"
Shadowheart: "Since our resident gith isn't too taken to the idea of expanding her already dwindling intelligence."
Lae'zel: "You do know that if I choose to be rid of you now, you wouldn't even know it."
Shadowheart: "I'll take my chances."

Minthara: "I'm sure this tome doesn't teach anything that a daughter of House Baenre would find... particularly useful."

Minthara: "Although... I don't see the harm of trying to read aloud what's written on it."
Minthara: "Heheh..."
Shadowheart: "Great minds think alike, I guess, let's see..."
Arcana roll check... ... ... CRITICAL FAILURE!
Shadowheart: "Oh..."
Lae'zel: "You fool! What did I tell you about do--"
*POOF*

Lae'zel: "AHHHHHH! Look what you have done!"
Shadowheart: "O-oh! Isn't this... Nightsong Armor?!"
Minthara: "Hahaha! I'd say your 'goddess tome' would've granted you that armor regardless... although it had other ideas for your githyanki friend, hahaha!"
Lae'zel: "SHADOWHEART!!! GET MY ARMOR BACK ON ME, NOW!!!"

??? "Are you all quite done in there?"
??? "Yes, you've all taken quite a bit of time, so we decided to have a lo-- oh."

Wyll: "Well, I guess it's a pleasant surprise to behold, wouldn't you say, Gale?"
Gale: "Indeed, I'm all for the trappings of magic but this sight isn't too bad, all things considered..."
Scratch: "Woof!"
