This article provides a general overview of my activities.

I will add minor updates and some brief thoughts here.

That said, I couldn't update at all last month, but I'm keeping this space for that purpose.

One thing I must clarify is that I basically do not post derivative works generated by AI.

The reason is described in this column, but simply put, it is to avoid the risk of ceasing activities.

Although it’s digital, I’m also practicing handwriting. I might draw there, but who knows when.

I've been working on detailing the Crown Model M29 I bought a while ago, so I thought I'd post about it. I'm going to use some technical terms without explanations, so feel free to skip reading if you like.

少し前に購入したクラウンモデルのM29をずっとディティールアップに勤しんでまして、折角なので投稿。

ちょっと専門用語とか説明なく使いますので、別に読まなくてよいです。

Crown Model's toy guns are known for being affordable, but that means they mostly don't use metal parts, and the parting lines are clearly visible, making them obviously look like toys. This makes it easy to paint them without hesitation. Unfortunately, I didn't take any before photos of the customizations, so I borrowed some images from the internet.

クラウンモデルのトイガンは安価で有名ですが、その分パーツはほぼ金属を使っていなかったりパーティングラインがはっきり残っていたりとガッツリおもちゃとわかる仕上がりです。ですので気兼ねなく塗装したりできます。

折角見た目カスタムするのにビフォアを撮影していなかったので、ネットから画像を拝借。

で、わたくしが仕上げたのがこちら。









The dust that I didn't notice during shooting is quite noticeable.

撮影時には気付かない埃が目立つ。

The overall paint job is a bluing style, with a clear blue base and an overcoat of gunmetal black.

The grip, which was originally resin and looked better than I expected, was painted to look like wood (unsuccessfully, so no close-up).

The most important part for me was converting the cylinder to a non-fluted one by removing the grooves. I've always liked this type, so I paid extra attention to it. I painted the bullets' tips blue-green, which is our mascot's image color.

全体的な塗りは、クリアブルーを下地に黒鉄色でしっかり上塗りしたブルーイング風。

グリップは樹脂丸出しも思ったより良かったのですが、木製グリップっぽく塗装（失敗。なのでアップ無し）。

一番やりたかったシリンダーの溝を無くしたノンフルートシリンダーに改造。昔からこのタイプが凄く好きなのでこだわりの箇所。

申し訳程度のうちの看板娘のイメージカラーであるブルーグリーンを弾頭に着色。

Although there are some rough parts, I'm generally satisfied. It's enjoyable to admire it while having a drink.

Sorry for neglecting my illustration work. I lose track of time when working on model kits.

色々と甘い部分があるのですがひとまず満足。眺めながら晩酌するのが乙。

イラスト制作そっちのけで作っててすいません。造形物触ってると時間忘れちゃうんですよね。
