Dev Log #72 - A small delay!

Hi all! Welcome back to another weekly dev log! I hope everyone is having a good week! Let's get things going!

Progress update
The development of the side story is still ongoing, with renders still coming hot off the presses for the remaining scenes! I am currently feeling high levels of productivity since I returned last week and I will be keeping this momentum up as we close in on E2:E's alpha release, and well into the development of E3, which has had a fair share of its renders completed!

I do, however, expect development to require several more days for me to fine-tune and fix the bugs that were reported from the Early Preview a few weeks prior!

Why is it taking longer than usual?
With E2:E, especially the side story, I set out with the goal of creating diverse scenes for the twins. Without going into too much detail about what these scenes are, what I mean is that each selected futa twin will have scenes that differ from the other. This builds on their respective personalities and how both of them approach any situation!

On the flip side, this increases the scope of content and planning, which was the time I re-evaluated and finalized certain scenes before leaving on my two-week absence, as it is quite challenging to build a scene where both twins are expected to go through a scene and have interacted with other characters (i.e. when Cara examined the futa twin in the base Episode 2) in a meaningful way that makes sense.

TLDR: Two characters with two personalities means a doubled workload (and content!) thus requiring slightly more time!

There is no timeline for an alpha release but rest assured that I will have the game ready and playable before the end of April, and as soon as it is ready!

Quick update on custom renders!
With the March custom renders on the horizon (releasing this weekend!), the December 2023/January 2024 custom renders will also be made available for everyone!

A preview for everyone!
I just wanted to leave everyone with this sneak peek that I've grown fond of over the past week, and that is largely from Trinity's shirt art looking very cutesy (and the contrast of Tiffany's sporting attire, of course).

I'll get back to development and I'll see you all next week! Stay safe and healthy!
