Dev Log #91 - Straight to the point!
Added 2024-09-06 22:00:04 +0000 UTCHi all! I'm back from my one-week vacation since yesterday and have been getting right back into development!
Test release update
As a follow-up to last week's mishap, I have managed to re-render all of the missing renders and have had them backed up locally and on the cloud for my own future sanity.
I will take the time to prepare what's left on the docket and aim for the test release to happen as soon as possible. I'm deeply thankful for everyone's patience regarding this, despite the unfortunate delays before!
While free roams are still my Achilles heel in terms of potential ideation versus realistic output, I do want to improve my speed of development in this area moving forward past this one that is present in the test release!
Custom renders for August
The custom renders for August are still pending and will come soon after the test release. It is much delayed this time around and for that, I sincerely apologize!
September renders will come as usual near the end of the month!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Breakdown of what's done and what's left
There are currently over 3,000 new renders, ranging from minor transitioning scene variations to "feature-length" lewd scenes spanning 200 to 300 renders, with some lewd scenes branching into three completely different sub-scenes depending on the choices you make or have made!
There are, however, some things left for me to do:
- The few scenes that were pending completion from the last dev log are still pending due to the mishap last week. I aim to finish them ASAP.
- Some scenes are lacking in dialogue refinement, mainly scenes that have had the images unceremoniously removed. Next on the priority list.
- Start-of-chapter linkage (i.e. linking the most recent episode to Episode 3, mainly relating to code). I expect this to be trivial.
--------------------------------------------------------------
To end off with, I want to reiterate how thankful I am for everyone's patience despite the large speed bump last week. While it was a hard setback, I'm happy to see positive comments of encouragement and motivation, be it on the two platforms or Discord and I must say: It really, really helped, thank you.
Now then, I will be putting my head down and getting to work on what's left!
Stay safe and healthy!
