Dev Log #114 - New mechanic's first glimpse!

New game mechanic and how it works!
As promised, I'll give a first glimpse into a new mechanic that I think is less on the gameplay side and doubling up on the branching storytelling that has been the bread and butter of Cara's adventures in Creekmaw!
Whether you have sent some characters down to their untimely fates, or if you've chosen to have Cara depend on certain characters, all of it will continue to build with this story-focused mechanic called... Liquid Vials! (name to-be-finalized).
If these colors look familiar, that's because they are! These vials look to build on a similar scene in Episode 2, where Cara can decide to spike someone's tea and have him become able to perform vorish activities! Instead of locking this one scene to that character in particular, these vials will come in handy and allow Cara to form potential allies, protect the people she cares about, or even just get them to thicken up a little when they feel a little frisky!
-- "Wouldn't that add on to the already big render work?"
Yes and no! Not all characters will be able to partake in the vials, but for those who do and can, their scenes will, as much as possible, have their deviations within the lewd scene itself, before the scene joins back together again (i.e. Similar to the scene in EP2: Cara inviting Stanford/Natalie/Poloson night scene which then combines back into the main story the following day, with minor differences depending on the character choice shown afterward).
The vials and their effects will also try to keep visual differences in transitional scenes at a minimum, to prevent duplicate work (i.e. such as the twins currently requiring two renders to show the futa twin and the non-futa twin in the same scene).
All of the above is to say that the vials will look to elevate certain lewd scenes while providing a meaningful way of creating real impact as the story unfolds!
Development update!
I've been going full speed and full ham on the renders over the last week (with the queue growing longer), and will be looking to use this weekend to start on the custom renders, before resuming the render work and game development starting next Monday!
