Patreon Tutorial #55 - Product Shading & Rendering - Boolean Clipper Shading Technique *Available Oct. 4th*

Hey guys! Patreon Tutorial #55 will be covering procedural sharing techniques and in particular, rendering certain metals and industrial materials. It will also cover a new Distance Shader Interior Color Control technique. These new parameters will be added to the Distance Shader and expand what we can use the shader for. I will be going over how these parameters work and how we can use them to make a boolean clipping effect.

This is an interesting technique that can be leveraged by people until Redshift releases a full proper boolean clipper shader. I will go over some of the limitations of this workflow, but overall it can be flexible and use any shapes to clip out another object and it even supports interior shading of the cut object. This technique can seem complex at first, but it is actually a straightforward process once you understand how it is working. I hope you guys enjoy the new additions to the distance shader and leveraging them for boolean clipping effects along with my workflow when dealing with procedural shading.
