This reminds me a little of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer no dialogue episode (Hush) for another in-universe reason for that. Both very fun and innovative!

2025-06-21 02:37:47 +0000 UTCThis episode makes me so emotional, I think that Bojack really could have eaten dinner with the family, but his own shit got in the way, he got too sad thinking of the life he could have had. It's interesting to see the way he treats a kid he didn't want vs his mom. I also think the visuals make me emotional because I'm in college for marine biology, and seeing the way the beauty of the ocean is portrayed in this world is really wonderful, along with the music. Also, the lights and sounds in the deep ocean part scratch my brain in a great way.
