Victoria 9 + Progress Report

Daz3D released a new Genesis 9 Model and with it a New Victoria 9 character. The character is ok, but I'm fairly underwhelmed by the Genesis 8 model as a whole. It does not seem to offer much in a way of improvements over the Genesis 8 and 8.1 models, so I will likely continue to just use those for the foreseeable future.

Progress Report:

I'm still having issues with Britney's wardrobe for the comic, to be honest, I have not had much time to work on it. I spent the weekend helping my old man do carpentry work, and I've been fairly under the weather all week long. (Not COVID or anything else, just my Meniere's crap acting up. Vertigo, tinnitus, & all that fun stuff...)

Things just want to auto-adjust weirdly, like they normally do, but this first jacket I tried does not like d-force at all. every time I try it, it either locks up or crashes the Daz software.

It has much better textures than the second one, but the more I try to manipulate it by hand the worse things get...

This, ( the image below,) is the second Varsity style jacket I've tried working with, and it honestly looks horrible the way it stretches the textures when the software tries to auto-fit it, and there is very little manipulation I can do to make it look any better.

I'm going to need to make that part of her outfit from scratch, and that involves having several hours of uninterrupted time to work on it. I'm again hoping the weekend provides that.

I'm half tempted to upgrade my copy of Marvelous Designer so I can use my GPU to boost cloth simulations, but I'm not sure if it's worth the annual license fee...

I've also thought about just scrapping my ideas for her clothing, but it's kind of important to me to get it right. Having her look like she is wearing clothing that is too small for her is a big part of the BE/TF fetish for me, and I'll be kicking myself later if I halved-assed it now just to save time and get something out faster.
