0.7.0 Status Update 8/28/17

Hey guys,

I appreciate you guys waiting patiently for the update. We are working hard to get it out. I just wanted to update you all and let you know that we are stopping work on any additional bug fixes at this point, and finishing up the open issues that we have, and starting to do internal play-testing. We're looking at an Alpha release within the next week.

We've had a lot of setbacks recently. Those of you who know my regular pace of releasing updates know that I usually aim for once a month. We didn't manage to get anything out very recently because of setbacks including adding new members to our team, training, creating a team workflow, and of course many of you know about the issues with the Steam launch. At this point, the dust is settling, and we're getting into a groove. Once we get everything rolling smoothly, the end result will be better updates more frequently, but right now we appreciate you bearing with us while we work the kinks out of our new system as we gear up for our first release as a team.

We are also hiring on a new operations manager who will be handling the day to day stuff that has taken me away from development, so I can get back to working on pumping out new stories. He starts next month, and he will take a lot off of my plate so I can focus on the game again.
