WIP Preview for June

Well, I have a busy weekend ahead of me and a lot of stuff to get finished... but there is enough here to give you a basic idea of where things are headed. Also I have a list of items for a poll, I'm planning on asking everyone to vote on 3 items. Take a look at it and add anything else you want through the comments. I had a couple nice road related ideas that I have left off till I see what ends up being made on the  kickstarter campaign.

Clay tile roofs are coming, I think three will come out in june. Now that the base asset is developed I can do steep ones as well. I have concepts set up for 3 more roofs after the terra cotta.

Prison Cells for Barracks. A couple corners you can swap in on the first floor of the barracks. They can be cells or storage closets I think. you will be able to pop in other doors if you want.

Short Palisade wall. I think this is going to come out well. 2 walls, 1 corner, 1 gate. I still need to load up the palisade and make sure it can come off the corner towers of the larger palisade.

Horse Carvings for the Palisade. There isn't much to go on for this and horses have a lot of shapes that don't lend themselves to a traditional primitive totem. This is sort of where I'm headed. I did an upright head with a unicorn version....yeah... I'm mostly into mad max and orcs so I'm really out of my wheel house on figuring out if this is anything people would be into. I'm open to feedback on it. meh, got to try new things.

Doors. I did a couple decorative doors and tried a new basic door with some symbols punched in. there will be sizes for both types of doors I use on the buildings

Not Shown on images for June

Windows. working on some shutters open/close and a banner hanging window.

Palisade. Making a smaller wall section that is the size of the gate so people can make a closed square.

Palisade. Made a glue on back beam so people can have the large palisade walls without the walkway.

road ramps. putting in a couple road ramps off the kickstarter for people who don't have roads to attach to gate.

Okay now the list of stuff for the poll so far.

Thanks Ken! a few of these I acctually have half made for the next kickstarter but many of them are new ideas. I'll do a second poll for store fronts in a week or so, I've been given too many Ideas to fit on one!

Ken thanks a ton for all the suggestions, I appreciate all the thoughtfulness.:)

Various renditions of stoneworked, brickwork, Tudor, (just Wattle & Daub and Wattle & Daub with half stone) , wood sided, clapboard sided, adobe and log cabin style buildings. i.e. a 5x5 building reproduced in each style, but with your method of pegs floors and roofs could be interchanged with different styles. Just release one rendition each month like a series. Each style lends themselves to a locale or even a class variation of a building within a city. On a different note, an interesting variation that I have not seen..a standard wooden house, slightly crooked, maybe partially, falling over, but braced to avoid the further deterioration of the structure (not a major failure of the builder, but a noticeable one just the same) I enjoy your renditions and look forward to seeing where you will be in your catalogue in a year from now...just don't burn out, these are all just suggestions.

I was at Fort Morgan last July... Anything apt for Blood and Plunder would be fun.

What he said

Awesome! Interesting connection to Dwarf forts. I agree, it's a big project. Would love to get one on the table for Blood & Plunder. I think a lot of pirate/colonial era models could be useful for other genres as well.

Forgot: armoury for belting out the paladins armour during downtime lol

Keith Steel

Thanks for the ideas , I'll get those in:)

Horse trader, farrier, cooper, mason, any type of Smith, for store fronts, plus any food vendor slash general store, bookseller, magic items shop. I love the idea of goblin villages..

Keith Steel

Yeah, I actually visited one last year down in alabama that got used up to WWII by the coast guard, fort morgan I think. I guess they had those all over from early 17 century on up. I thought it seemed like what a dwarf fort might be based on. It was cooler than I expected. It could be something for split versions versions. I'm gonna think on that one, it would have to be a big one.

That will be on there, If you have ideas about specific stores please share, thanks!

Some store fronts would be a nice addition

Coastal cannon battery type star forts :-)

Thanks Richard, I appreciate the vote of confidence.

You mean the costal canon battery type star forts or more inland Alamo type stuff.?

maybe i'll split that into human and orc variants then.

I am really intrigued as well...

Not enough siege engines out there, would definitely get my vote.

Yellow Sign Studio

Goblin housing...yes :)

Frederick A Williams

Love the designs, Jeremy!

Richard Sorden

Not sure how/when/if this might fit into your plans, but I'd love to get pieces for a Spanish, colonial style fort
