November Preview 3, some done, some wip

Here's some more on the houses. Ended up boosting the thatch texture a lot. The rougher experimental roof texture showed a lot of promise from test printing and we should have something to show for it next month. These houses scale a bit towards the modern reaper 28mm side of the miniature scale. each hut will have 4 roof variations. 2 of those variations will be suitable for previously released buildings.

It's no problem, I'll put them out both ways. Yeah it can help a bit since it is almost a z axis print stood up. I find the ring lines can really kick in hard on roofs with a modest pitch , sometimes it is even worse than flat parts with texture. But I haven't tested it with this specific texture.

I have an FDM printer and all the roofs from other sets I've printed were one piece. I didn't know quality would improve in two pieces. I guess because the angle is changed?

Yes, I agree we'll probably start to see a lot more people willing to mix with these cheap mid size resin printers coming out and it doesn't really take much skill to figure chitubox supports and hollowing on buildings compared to dynamic poses on some miniatures.

offering both will be good, since the first thinh i thought was : het you can print those in resin for once :D

Thanks Mario:)

I don't mind offering it as an optional DL, it will be good for laser sintering or resin printers out there. It won't be good for fdm printers though, they'll be trading the seam for salmon skinning and less detail.

Can the roofs be printed as one piece to avoid having a seam?

I like the houses a lot.
