Furnished Inn

This month we are releasing the first part of our 3 story inn with repeating top level and furniture. Next month we will release a second part with some upper story options and more furniture. We have around a dozen pieces of furniture with resin supports added so far and will finish that off next month for the more complex pieces. Furniture is fairly basic to set up on the resin printer. Any 30-45 degree tilt with a couple extra supports on the starter edge should take care of all this stuff.

Main Features of Inn

The main feature of the Inn involves walls cut at 1/3 height to allow for maximum viewing on any floor being played. We are also using a removable peg system so you don’t have to work about losing a part just because a stacking peg breaks.

Miniature Stands

We are starting to make miniature stands, this month we are releasing square style stands, going forward each month will have a new style of square stands and also full set of round stands in the previous months style.

Beta Solid/Hollow Buildings

We have released a beta of requested solid/hollow style buildings with NO INSIDES. This has been requested many times over the months so it will be an added feature. We will release a set of these each month. I am not providing supports on these as I expect they will be scaled to many sizes. Let me know how it works for you!

I will try that, thanks!

Did you try turning off all skirt/brim options on the slicer. That will usually get you another 10mm. You can also try resizing the bed setting perameters. The ender 3 pro is 220x220 but actually measure 235 from what I understand. All these parts should squeeze into 200mm

Hello, I am trying to print level 3 on my Ender 3pro and it just does not fit. I guess I will have to edit it into smaller pieces. Any recommendations on how to go about it?

Thanks for the update, I'm sorry you couldn't find the exact cause, hopefully that is the end of it for a while. Feel free to reach out, I've spent a lot of time fixing anycubic megas

you are right the problem comes from my printer (anycubic i3 mega with software cura). Now it is ok . i don't know exactly why . I cleaned everything .In addition to doing beautiful things. you give advice to troubleshoot. I really appreciate your help. thanks again

Hi Collin, thanks for the images. it looks like it is mechanical since it is an entire model sliding. I have DM'd a list of things to look at based on my experiences with this issue.

i sent an email via 'Patreon' . i used software meshmixer with tool remesh but the problem is the same

collin

Hi Collin, images do not show up on comments. At this point I can remesh and rescrub. I'll DM you the part, let me know how it works. You can send me an image through DM if you want, either way let me know how this works.

Hi I have a same problem with file “3rd Floor_Top_Right.stl” or the file “3rd Floor_Top_Right_A.stl” While that I print , when the head printed level high 1.6 or 1.7 it print one centimeter nearby ( see picture) Best regard

Cool, Yeah, Cura is a one processor slicer and that floor level has a lot going on, I'll double check stuff above that over the next day and see if anything jumps out.

ok. got it to slice. it took a long time.

Thorfinr

I DM'd you a link for a freshly scrubbed copy of both files, let me know how it goes.

1st Floor Lower Left and Right get stuck at 10%. Using the CHEP 0.2 mm (Good) profile on Cura 4.8.0

Thorfinr

which file and profile? it may just take a while to push through, I'm happy to take a look. I do all my slicing on cura but things can happen with other printer profiles on there.

Anyone here having difficulties slicing these files in Cura?

Thorfinr

Hey thanks for the comment, I'm glad it's coming together. For the expansion I was just going to do some level design variations. I'm happy to do some other buildings. I have some smaller buildings/scatter I'm doing this month to give a rest on the massive prints:)

You've done an excellent job on this. Architecturally and aesthetically it's amazing. The style of the furniture is unique and varied. The jigsaw method for separating floors and the roof helps so much with alignment and stability. I can't say enough good things about this one. I'm not sure what you're planning on for expanding this but something similar to what was done with the Last Chance Outpost would be really cool. I could see options for adding a blacksmith, general store, arms and armor, small guard post and prison cell or two. There are a lot of possibilities and more customization to it. Thanks for the great work!
