KICKSTARTER ANNOUNCED   Roads to Adventure 2: Between and Beyond

Our next Kickstarter is still a ways off and there will be plenty of previews for it on the social media over the next months but it is never to early to follow on Kickstarter. It will be another one of our insanely cheap kickstarters with a ton of stuff in it.

Do not forget that we currently have a design on the WuKong Kickstarter   from Bloody Sword Miniatures that ends in 5 Days! We made a 22 inch tall statue dungeon for it have recently finished converting parts of that monster into scatter terrain:)

HI Doug:) I was sorry to see all the G+ groups get axed but I guess traffic had been going sideways for a while. Anyways, Yeah it has been a bit of a journey. I would guess I was modeling about as well as the average 12 year old when I started. I have my first models bundled over on thingiverse for anyone who needs inspiration. Thanks for the compliment:)

Jeremy, I have got to say that you have come so far in your sculpting since I first met you on my old G+ "3d printing for Games" site, I am super impressed. You should be proud.

Douglas Rector

LOL, ah, I see what you mean, I took mistook "extremities" and "straight" to mean the walls face instead of the side edges. I thought I it was about bowing walls. Anyways, that makes it clear now. That's a fair shot, it's a little bit of work so, I'd have to push it into next month or after. I'll have a look at the pieces and pick out some candidates. I have good root files so I should be able to do some nice deconstructs. I think I'll be laughing to myself the rest of the day about how I read that, anyways thanks for the comment and for dumbing it down for me :)

yeah blank bases would be great. i like to have plain black bases on some mini's depending on the games im playing.

CommisarSnake

Hum... I'm a bit confused by your answer, I suspect I have not been the clearest in what I wrote. I am not sure what you mean by leaning walls, What I meant to point out is that each piece somehow has perfect stonework at each extremity where in reality you would at least see debris of previously neighboring walls or masonry. https://images.app.goo.gl/CwJ8qDJYr51jqpmz7 https://images.app.goo.gl/Nu6pXT6YsFMwWkfU7

I know I would

GameNight

Do you mean the totally blank ones? i put that image up just to show the mechanics. Do you want totally blank bases?

Awesome, let me know how it goes!

Hi WIktor, I've not looked into what they will involve, from what I can see on first glance that is probably a hard no. I did some sold body builds and will do some more, that is the only thing I can think of that would come close. I'm up for running a print and seeing what it needs to pull that off on those remodels.

Thanks for the comment Jake:)

Anyone can easily google 100's of english abbey ruin pictures that look like mine, from what I see none of them have leaning walls. Even really crumbled ones. Having said that I am happy to put that in the line up for other style ruins, I have not done any sagging walls.

Are the blank bases in this months download. Must have missed them

CommisarSnake

Hey! Great stuff! If I may provide constructive feedback, there's one thing that bothers me a bit with your scatter ruins though, and it's the fact that extremities on pretty much all your pieces are perfectly straight. Crumbling walls don't usually look like that, so I've not been using any as they look a bit out of place... it's a shame because apart from that they are fantastically detailed as opposed to the "melted cheese" look that many other terrain sculptor have.

So much going on -- The jousting table looks amazing

oldschoolfrp

I love your work <3 . I know this might be too much to ask, but could you try to adjust some of the models for vase mode printing ( spiralize contour printing) - much faster printing by far less material used. Some of the things should be modifiable. When I have the time I do it myself, since it improves the quality as well ( 0.8 mm nozzle gives great results)

Saviny

printing off some bases now coming out really nice, most definitely need to repair my larger printer though.

CommisarSnake

Thanks Alex. The warehouse I have on the kickstarter was actually designed 6 months ago, after you first suggested the split walls. It is REALLY seamless. I'm looking forward to sharing it. I test printed it and basically boxed it due to time budget stuff.

Man, that's a ton o content! Again, thanks so much for the 1/3 wall cuts. Looking forward to that next KS!
