Thanks a bunch for the quick response! I'll give it a go here in a bit.

Robert Lee

Hi Robert, that is the unpatched file I think. I reloaded it on MMF. it should just be called LV1_Back_Wall now. I reloaded that one as well as the base because there was a few scraps of pocket geometry. Grab the updated file off of MMF and see if it slices better. If it does not, let me know.

Also having a bit of an issue with the back wall, but mine is coming up with a random layer of infill across the whole inside of warehouse-part1-lv1-back-style-lv1-back-wall, layer 14 comes through trying to print infill midair on only that layer for some reason on Cura, any ideas?

Thanks for the heads up. The myminifactory upload was missing the ramp and PDF diagram, they have now been added. The large hotlink and website download looked complete:)

The ramp for the warehouse seems to be missing from the updated files.

Danny Vercruyssen

Wrong part included in initial release,, Patch is now posted, thanks for the help:)

I'm having a problem with the LV1_Back_Wall_Stairs not fitting in the wall. The long edge seems to fit fine, but the short edge seems too long. Anyone else have this issue?

GameNight

Yeah the Hotlink downloads on the download post here have them in folders as will the DTRPG links. There's not much I can do about MMF. It is set up for minis and there are less than ideal features for larger stuff. I will request access to upload files larger than 500mb this month. If granted, I think it will release me from having my files cut up that way.

I started printing the doors this morning since they are each a 2h job, and will start the updated foundation shortly since it'll require printing overnight. I had thought the file names were unusually descriptive and long and was thinking "this would be... easier if it were all organized into subfolders."

Charles Feduke

Charles, I patched all the uploads with the fix. I also removed files from folders and re-uploaded to MMF. I did not realize that MMF added the entire file directory to the part name on upload. The new upload eliminates this. I advise using the new upload. Extremely long file names can cause print crashes on machines that use SD cards while printing. It is a weird and uncommon error but it can happen, maybe you don't print like that but will mention it here for other folks.

Gah! I just realized as it was printing... the problem piece was "warehouse-part1-lv1-back-style-lv1-foundation-backwall.stl" - the foundation piece for the backwall. Was looking at the printer wondering why the first layer finished so quickly and realized "d'oh it was the foundation that wasn't slicing!"

Charles Feduke

Yes, the updated version sliced cleanly in Prusa Slic3r. Thanks!

Charles Feduke

Found some loose pocket geometry I missed. I'll DM you a new part in a second. Give it a spin and let me know

Hi Charles, I'll have a look. The part should just be "lv1_Back_Wall" if it is longer there may be some upload corruption. For me Slic3r always has issues where others do not but it is typically fine in recent years. I have Slic3r , I'll get back to you in a few hours.

Weird thing, with the warehouse: "warehouse-part1-lv1-back-style-lv1-back-wall.stl" when sliced in Prusa Slic3r just consumes CPU and makes no progress, I let it burn for about 30 minutes before force killing it. I've tried changing to different infill settings and no luck. Could be a bug in Slic3r though its the first time I'm encountering it after slicing a few hundred STLs with it.

Charles Feduke

Indeed they are! Cheers!!

Martin Nichol

Thanks Mario:)

Thanks for the heads up Martin, all fixed now.

The MMF PDF links are giving 404 pages.

I like everything!
