Haunt Woods Scriptorium Video Overview

Low-FI break down of our Haunt Woods Scriptorium. Currently being offered as a split release on Tribes during July and August. This is the first video I've done in about 2 years since turning away from the kickstarters. I haven't really had something large enough to make it necessary. Anyways, Hope it is helpful when the rest comes out soon!

Hey thanks for the pro tip, I'll keep that in mind, I've lost prints many times to heat. I never tried melting them back because I figured it would always be a bit off, I just reprint. I'll definitely try this next time.:)

Love your work, and the value of this Patreon. About the warped roof tile panels, I find when I get this issue, I just put them in hot, but not boiling, water for a bit then lay them flat with a book, or something, on top. This straightens them out perfectly. Never had this from undercoating, but I left a few panels in direct sunlight, and they warped. The beauty of thermoplastics, like pla, is that when they're above their glass temp, but below the melting temp (about 65deg C), they become malleable. Don't overheat, though, or the panels will shrink and become useless. Use water from the hot water tap, rather than from the kettle, and it should be fine.

Thanks for checking it out Dave! Get that thing fixed! Though I know it is fun to use the build plate as a fancy coffee cup coaster:)

This is gorgeous, I think it might inspire me to repair my FDM printer so I can get a scriptorum printed out!
