September Preview 2. Witch of Haunt Wood Mines

Main Features For September

Small Scriptorium Patch for Gate

Barn Base2 Patch for Scriptorium

Everything is set up for FDM printing, some features will have some resin options when size appropriate.

Witch's A-Frame : This is a 2 story A-Frame, towers are large enough for 1 mini. October will include a basement/plateau expansion. Right now it is cut into 3 main parts, I will add a 5 part option to avoid 24hr prints.

Miners Barracks. Miners Barracks with granary and watch tower. Granary can be stand alone and used with parts from the Granary we released a couple months back. Right now it is cut into 3 main parts, I will add a 5 part option to avoid 24hr prints.

Plateau: A giant Plateau with a foot print around 30 inches. Over 2 feet of playable top area, basically a end table. Optional mine entrance in images. Sections glue together with bars that are much more snap into place than the option supports for the scriptorium plateau. It is tighter because they have to be used on this larger plateau. I will release a road ramp next month for the plateau.

Mountains: There will be 4 mountains. 8X16 to 24. The bottom layer is cut so it can be used as rooms or supports underneath the plateau.

Mine Elevator: The mine elevator technically works but is really too light to be effective without gluing it all down. Still I think it adds to it. I had a couple comments on it when I posted to Instagram regarding realism. This is a fantasy build. To the best of my limited knowledge there was never any elevator platforms like this. They did have systems like this but they were hauling things up and down with ropes only and there was more secondary pullies attached. Lastly the horses would have been below ground somewhere with the gears somewhere above them.

May have to hold off on a lot of resin scatter to furnish these houses till October. There is a long list of stuff I have lined up to finish off the set.

Thanks for having a look!

I have one FDM printer that works. I have another one but it hasn't worked since my move to Columbus. Having trouble leveling the build plate. I have a resin printer as well, and that's been working hard to print the smaller models you've put out lately. The models I can print with resin I can churn out fairly steadily. The big models take anywhere between 12-24 hours on average, but I have my settings for quality printing so I don't have to do as much post production work before painting. I just got an airbrush so I can batch prime and base coat faster but I'm setting it up still and have to learn how to use it first.

well I like to say that you need to practice telling the truth if you want to be a good liar:) Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks a bunch Mario!

Thanks Theala! I feel 3-5 machines is usually the sweet spot. 5 is kind of a hassle but it is nice to have a bonus printer incase something jams up. Sometimes I'll run way more than that but at that point its a job. How many did you use for yours?

Thanks Alex , Glad you like them:)

Totally agree on the "This is fantasy". I think you've thought out these designs quite well and while they may not be historically accurate, you're not trying to be. You're using history to facilitate your designs. Bravo for that!

Impressive!

Wow! Looks awesome. I'm still printing out the Scriptorium. I think I have one more part of the upper plateau to print out., and still have the ladders and walls yet to do. I think I need another FDM printer LOL. I am having so much fun with the Scriptorum. Looking forward to the Mines.

Very cool! The playable mountain-like terrain is very compelling.
