In a shocking twist it turns out that when you run off and leave your growth pills behind the person you're running from might find them again and use them. The now even huger Luxray grabs the Mega-Houndoom from behind to restrain her...though it doesn't exactly have the results she expected.
Instead of fighting back, kicking and screaming, the Houndoom instead just enjoys the embrace, pawing at her much bigger companion lovingly. It seems the pills have unlocked certain hidden feelings between the two.
