Lucky though he's wedged in safetly, and he finally gets to tell the girls what he's wanted to the whole time. He loves them both equally, they don't need to fight over him, they're a big happy family of three.
The two poke-girls hug each other, their rivalry over and a lovely three way relationship blossoming. The townsfolk below, those at a safe distance anyway, cheer the happy ending, even the trainer they had beaten out before is just happy to see them finally happy.
