Unfortunately the recording on the other end of the line isn’t swayed by his sense of urgency and calmly tells him that there’s currently nobody available to take his call and to please stay on the line, before turning on some calming jazz music.
So the Fennec waits....and waits...and waits. Pacing around the house while adjusting to the awkward weight of his chest.
“Be sure to take these pills they said,” the Fennec thinks in defiance, “I’ll take em alright...”
