Our Page Process: Sketch Phase
Added 2022-03-21 02:16:46 +0000 UTCHey lovelies, we wanted to check in with you real quick! Suzana and I are going to take an update off from the public site again this week, so I thought it might be interesting for us to share with you what it looks like during these slow weeks.
Occasionally our caretaking position suddenly and randomly takes up more hours per week than usual. We could try to rush, but we're so close— we want to do this right. We'll remember these pages more fondly if they're not made under duress, too!
In the meantime, I thought it might be cool to show you guys how the page is pieced together. I know we've shared some videos of the process in the past, but sometimes you get a different feel from screencaps like this. One is the current state of the page's sketch; the other is the original thumbnail, made for placing the word bubbles on. The bottom row will be changing entirely by the end— you can see that the word bubbles don't quite match the art anymore after the change. :)
We'll share more soon, and we'll get you the finished page ahead of the public site. We hope you're doing well in the meantime, and thanks for being here with us in these crazy times. ♥
