[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.79 - THOUGHT IT WAS OBVIOUS

i'm not thrilled about committing so much... or so soon... or so internationally.......

Suzana and I never paid much attention to holidays when we were living together by ourselves. Some we would travel to see family for, like Thanksgiving or Christmas, and we'd be back to life and work as usual after setting aside 3-5 days.

Late last year we moved in with an elderly family member with special care needs. Ever since, every major holiday has been exactly as intense and exhausting as the last - and yet I never think to pre-empt it until we're up to our eyeballs in prep. Holidays mean a sudden influx of family members who don't often come around— which means a proportionate influx of cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking, and balancing a schedule between family & medical care visits.

Just when we think we're starting to get in the groove and understand our new schedule, time has the audacity to bodyslam us into whatever the next chaotic moment is. But you know what, you guys already know exactly what I'm talking about— so let's get back to what we're supposed to be doing here, huh? ♥

Here's a page, lovelies. (We'll schedule it to go live to the public website tomorrow morning.) We had fun making this one; we've been having fun making this chapter as a whole, to be honest, but we've especially been enjoying ourselves lately. Getting to finally work on these last pages of Ch20, ones we've been building to for over a decade, has been a very peaceful little oasis for Suzana and I.
