[LIFT Update] Chapter 1, Page 26
Added 2024-07-19 10:17:20 +0000 UTCSuzana finished inking this page early yesterday morning. I (Owena) just finished coloring it a couple hours ago (before we moved on to the finalizing stage), and honestly I could have kept working on this for another week before I was satisfied, if I let myself.
I'm not where I want to be yet (which I think is probably a good thing, as I have a really clear goal for myself I'm enjoying striving for), but I'm looking forward to continuing to practice coloring as we go forward, and I'm really happy to have LIFT as an outlet to try to capture a lot of the things I see in Mass throughout the seasons.
That said, that's the end of Chapter 1! I hope you enjoyed it!
We'll jump into Chapter 2 here on Patreon in just a few days, while we take 2-3 weeks to work up a little bit of a backlog for the public site. I'll set a return date over there by the time this page goes live in... just under 3 hours. You can probably see why we need the space to work ahead!
I've also been pondering coming back down to one page a week, to give us a little breathing room to make pages for those side comics/flashback comics/some NSFW comics that we'd like to be working on alongside LIFT. Either way, we'll keep uploading pages here as they're finished, and we'll aim to increase the number of pages ahead we are here on Patreon.

Feedback: This is wonderful! I was kind of surprised when I stumbled upon TOY and loved it, because most of the comics I read are full of, you know, wizards and/or weapons and/or magical girls (or they're political commentary), and I get impatient with most "slice of life" ones in which not very much happens. But I fell in love with Liam the moment I saw him, just because he's so beautiful, and I fell in love with the rest of the gang pretty quickly because they're so much fun and so caring along with it. That's why I'm so eager to see more of the neighbors in LIFT--they seem like another fun gang. TL;DR: You're amazing at depicting lovable characters, each with a unique personality.
