Atop the crumbling peak of a sacrificial pyramid the local members of several tribes have gathered to give an offering. The offering, is only slightly on board with this. Nobody in the village knows what happens to the one who is chosen to go to these ceremonies, though it is seen as a great honor.
The offering of choice this time is a small, yet able bodied, young male from the kobold tribe. After being strapped down onto a sacrificial alter and watches the village leaders all descend the pyramid steps he’s left to ponder just how much of an honor this really is...
