Sunday Assignment: Business Cards

Hey Guys, There's no zoom today. I have a 3 hour shoot today at 6 so 🥲

BUT I will give you all an assignment if you don't have anything to do!

The photos attached is my design for my first ever business cards, It's just 2 of my favorite photos at the time and some words with a QR code to my website. I made these back in 2022 I believe.

This post is your REMINDER that you NEED Business cards, They're definitely still valuable in 2024. The amount of times someone have came up to me and asked me for a card and i haven't had any on me is enormous. Its crazy.

I want you all if you don't have any business cards already to go ahead and AT LEAST create your design today. Theres places that offer same day business card making but I recommend using Vista print, that's what i used back then and will be using now when i make my new ones. Places like Office depot and office max can make same day cards for you, I can't really vouch for the quality though.

• When making the design make sure its CLEAR, that's one thing i folded on with these old business cards. They were alittle too dark but they got me by.

• Don't forget to incorporate your LOGO(s). 

• Make sure the Font is READABLE.

• Don't forget your slogan or Call to action, Example: StretchLifeVisuals, Where vision becomes reality.

• Use a Matte Finish! That's more of a personal preference thing but i like it and a lot of others do as well.

  You can create your design on Photoshop, Canva, Or any editing platform you use. Just make sure you're using the right dimensions when editing so when you upload to vista print or whatever it doesn't distort anything.
