Spit ‘n polish
Added 2018-10-17 13:21:12 +0000 UTCYesterday I pushed out some more changes to THP, mostly focused on fixing bugs and extending recently-introduced features. I put up a brief summary of things here and it represents about fifty commits and quite a few hours of testing and work.
While I’m sure that there’s still a few bugs and edge cases to sort out, I’m overall satisfied with the state of the user-facing scripts and functionality. That means that I’m going to be shifting my priorities to other areas of the site, as there are still very many structural issues that need to be dealt with or modernized. Less glamorous, I know, but it’s work that needs to be done if the site is to continue working properly and expanded upon. This is likely to be a long process and be very time-consuming and progress will depend on how much time I’ll be able to dedicate to the effort.
As for specifics, I’ll be sharing more details with patrons when the time is right. Rest assured that we’re still going to keep going forwards, even if it won’t be immediately obvious. Just don’t expect any more fancy settings and customization options right away.
