Yes it was, but at least it was torture with each other. The enjoyment of watching an episode and then discuss it with people who were as clueless as yourself was pretty great! We had timers on our discord and the reactions and enjoyment of each episode was real every single week! Some times you have this one person who takes it upon themselves to correct theories and/or spoil future content from the manga, but we weren't too plagued by that. My point is that I don't regret waiting those weeks. I think it is ultimately more enjoyable for me than a full season release.

The looks on your faces during the shot where Inoske is running away with Daki’s head compared to the shot where Giyutaro shows up is perfect. The writing gets you into the same headspace as the trio where you feel comfortable in that little victory and then are taken completely by surprise a moment later, just like the boys were. So good.

I think that scene was specific for Uzui, how he does things. Based on his emotions, life experiences and attitude, I feel like that's something that he would do. So I don't think they intended to portray the Japanese as a whole, just the character Uzui Tengen's personality here.

Very reasonable reaction to that ending, even more so if you're v into anime as Inosuke is one of your "main three" can't wait till next episode! Non spoiler details the three wives aren't explicitly genderbent from the main three, but they do intentionally share behavioral attributes, one being calm, kind and understanding but bold and brave (hinatsura) like tanjiro, one being physical and aggressive (makio, blonde tips) like Inosuke and one being a expressive and emotional (the other one who's name escapes me) like Zenitsu. I always assumed the intent of this is to not only show his experience dealing with people like our main three but also to show these are the people he likes. There's reasoning to this but may be minor spoilers for a future nin nin, so I'll save it xD

omg i know how you guys feel! i watched it on the day it came out & then had to wait a WHOLE WEEK for the next ep to drop!
