this was such a satisfying conclusion to this quest. even though they didn't get paid, some terrifying cult of rich WASPs gotten eaten by a monster, that would be payment enough for me

2025-04-05 14:58:02 +0000 UTCI know I already left a comment the other day, but the "why couldn't you just die" line is itching at my brain, so I also had to say; whoever shouted about wanting to sacrifice a pizza guy in page 24 had the right idea. Urban fantasy world and all wouldn't guarantee that a pizza guy couldn't hold their own, but trying to lure in ritual fodder by hiring *adventurers* might be the dumbest possible idea. Guaranteed to not only be armed but willing to fight back, and while I'm sure there's plenty of newbies on that app, you're more likely to get someone with at least a minimal amount of combat experience. Not criticizing the writing or anything, mind, I fully believe this is the kind of dumb these cultists would be! Just very funny to think about, is all (since I have a tendency to overthink things like this, lol). Anyhow, seriously been loving the series so far, not even 30 pages in yet and I'm itching for the new page every week!! I certainly wouldn't say no to "pages drop whenever they're done", but also make sure that's not gonna lead to overworking yourself or anything. "I can't wait" is hyperbole, and having to wait a week for each page like everyone else (even if we're a page ahead) is completely fine. Hope you have a nice day <3
