Announcement and upcoming Discord Server

Speaking of which, I am currently working on a Discord server to make communication and updates a lot easier. What sort of things would you like to see on both the server and here in the future?

Run a discord myself so just had a few things I've had requested in mine or found useful. One is if you plan the Discord to be open to the public you'll probably want to get an Auto-mod bot like Dyno installed. If it's going to be patrons only you don't have to worry about that. It's mostly to help protect your servers from raids. Other things I can think of... a self introduction channel people can post to when they first join usually goes over pretty well. If it is open to public maybe a Patreon only channel. There are two really big things I reccomend setting just for quality of life stuff. One is go into your server settings and overview and change notifications from all to mentions only. This stops people from getting a million notices on their phone anytime people chat. The other I'd reccomend is going into the roles and disabling the ability to @everyone for normal members. As the admin you're really the only one who needs that for announcements and it's best just not to let others have the temptation since again that's a way to blow up people's notifications. That's about it I can think of odd the top of my head. Beyond stuff like that would just be based on what you want it to be useful for. Are you looking for it just to be for communicating with patrons only or to set up a small community? The former doesn't need a whole lot while the latter you might want channels for people to share their own work or self-promotions. Discord is pretty easy to work with though so it's not like you need everything perfect when you start up. Changing server settings on the fly is pretty easy.
