Suggest a playthrough!

It's been a while since we did a patron survey like this!

I've got a long list of games I eventually want to feature on PlayFrame, but I also like to check in with you patrons now and then to get a better read on the sorts of games you'd be most excited to see.

So if you have any games you'd like to see appear on PlayFrame someday, enter them in this form!

To be clear: this isn't a formal bonus playthrough vote or anything! Think of this as more like a suggestion box; an opportunity to let me know what sorts of playthroughs you'd be most excited to see happen in the future.

Thanks folks! I look forward to reading your suggestions. :D

I'm all in on Nine Sols; I think it would be a great PlayGame

Patrick Carter

Became a Patreon cause I'd love to watch Dan tackle Rain World. Difficult but very compelling world

Bradley Martin

Jedi: Fallen Order, please. I love the exploration.

Timothy Daggett

Yes!

Timothy Daggett

Very late but that's a good thing because now I able to suggest Stray Gods: A Roleplaying Musical.

MythiCoder

I'd like to recommend the darksiders series, or the metroid prime series

TonyB_indie

It could just be my current BG3 hype talking, but I'd also very much be down for that! Especially considering the act breaks allowing for natural stopping points. I dunno how satisfying that would feel to the majority of viewers, but I'd totally devour a series like that.

Andrew Toms

Shadow of the Colossus! I'd love to hear Carrie analyze the architecture of the environments, especially the big temple at the beginning :)

Rick Jenkins

My eternal vote is always for Death's Door, which is a truly underrated little gem that I had an absolute blast playing through. And after watching today's episode...Little King's Story full playthrough? :O

Annie

Slime Rancher or Slime Rancher 2 would make a lovely Sunday series and I think Carrie would enjoy it! Another lovely game is Among Trees, It's definitely not the longest but showcasing the game in a one off Wednesday would be a delight!

TheGlowCloud

How about "Nobody Saves the World"? It has 2 player coop, and it is easier in that mode, so it can be a good Dan+Carrie playthrough. Also, "HI-FI Rush" could be interesting from an animation perspective.

HermesDiaktoros

Our 6-year really wants to see Dan & Carrie play through Unravel Two, but the wife and I would love to see them play any of the Pikmin games.

Pyrat Penguin

I've submitted the serious answer on the forum, fyi. A more considered, but less viable answer is Baldur's gate 3. The game comes in a 3 act structure; with natural break points to start a new series if it's not in the cards/viewers aren't interested. It has serious support for multiplayer, meaning up to 4 people can be in the same party, playing over the internet or just on different machines. What I'm hoping this means is a Dan-Carrie-Dan play through, goofing around and having a good time. It's a bit of a long shot but I hope it gets considered.

UnarmedToaster

Definitely Rain World if you havent played it and can do a blind playthrough. You could get Will on to gush about it for few episodes too.

Mikkel Pihl Andersen

Guacamelee! Or Guacamelee 2! I love these games so much. The music is great, the movement is fun and the fights are challenging. And you play a luchador! What could be better?

TargetBoy

I put in a vote for Metroid Prime Remastered. It's always a fantastic time to just watch you thoroughly enjoy Metroid and gush about it and I think Prime Remastered would be a gorgeous one to gush about.

Steady Ember

I put in a vote for Ghost Trick, and am commenting to say I would love to see it as a Dan & Carrie series if that would work!

lightningspiral

In terms of what I like to watch - I prefer mid-length slightly indie stuff in the single A space that has a good narrative arc. Games like Spiritfarer, Bugsnax, other interesting things that wouldn't get as much coverage elsewhere that tell an interesting story. I'm not as interested in watching Horizon type triple-A action titles. Don't want to see Assassin's Creed or Spider-Man on Playframe for example. God of War gets a pass because of its overall quality, but in that vein I'd rather see things like Senua or perhaps something from Don't Nod. Pentiment would be an excellent choice - not too long, but very interesting and about the themes of Art which seems relevant. Case of the Golden Idol is fascinating, but Dan struggles with puzzle games so we'd need to have Detective Carrie along for the ride. Plenty of great Metroidvanias that would also fit in the single A niche.

Mark Whiting

I think we are overdue for a playthrough of Subnautica, or at least one of the other top-tier open world survival-craft sims. Subnautica is probably the genre leader and best all around, so one vote there.

Mark Whiting

I'd love to see Pyre (finish off the Supergiant games!) or another one of the Metroidvanias - especially The Messenger.

Nazrax

i will humbly suggest the game i'm working on (Cavern of Dreams), only because it's an n64-style platformer and i feel like it's right up PlayFrame's alley (particularly Dan Jones!) i also used some of the points you brought up in your BK/BT playthroughs to inform its design. it's not out yet but it will be soon!! hope this is okay

Bynine

I put in Ikenfell, partly because one of my friends worked on it and I want to see their work get even more recognition

Jessica Cheeri

I agree

Renske van der Wal

I’d love to see you play some more strategy games. Maybe something like Banner Saga, some of the GBA Fire Emblems now that they’re on Switch or even something like the Advance FFT games which I believe might have been mentioned already (or maybe that was the PS1 one). I would even take Mario x Rabbids.

Ignacio Segura Montero

I think Pentiment is a real gem. Not too long either

Ksqared

I submitted 3 games to get a good mix of things: Golden Sun - Long shot as it's a lengthy RPG but it's such a great game that will be coming to the Switch Online GBA Emulator some time soon, amazing story, beautiful pixel graphics and amazing music from the composer who went on to work on games like Dark Souls and the Tales of series Shadow of Destiny (Shadow of Memories outside NA) - Really interesting game from the PS2 era that revolves around solving the puzzle of preventing your character's death using time travel Spirit of the North - Really cute and visually beautiful puzzle platformer where you play a fox spirit and have to restore the land, similar to Okami but based on Nordic folklore. Quite short but a beautiful game and would definitely fit the PlayFrame vibes I think

Donarex

Sunless skies would be awesome to see!

Zoltan

I put in three but mostly cause I wasn’t sure any of them qualified: 1. FFXVI: For all I know this is happening right after God of War. 2. Guitaroo Man: Hard to get a hold of so probably won’t happen 3. A Plague Tale: Innocence: My choice if the other two are invalid cause it’s the easiest to get a hold of, I don’t know if you have any interest in it and it’s not to crazy a length.

Jordan Glazer

Dwarf Fortress, but with an experienced guide helping along.

Bryan

Final Fantasy Tactics

Bobby Bobby

As I have for the last while, I’m suggesting Neo The World Ends With You! The characters are fun and dans first playthrough of the game was what got me into it to begin with! And it’s much more easy to handle now that it’s made for actual controllers.

Gatlin Burnside

I'd still love to get Dan and Carrie discussing Life Is Strange during a playthrough, but there are licensing issues with the in-game music.

rmsgrey

One of the Loathing RPGs (either West of Loathing or Shadow over Loathing).

Paul

Honestly? Almost anything you did on a Wednesday would make a good playthrough. Since that's a known, I don't think I need to add them to the list. Just trust you'll run the best eventually.

Benjamin Siegfried

I'd like to see Dan and Carrie play Pode together. It's a cute, short, puzzle platformer.

Zendikari Sparkmage

Let see what I have on my favorites list: -Ikenfell -To the Moon (Edited since I forgot one)-Murder by Numbers

Silevran

Certainly!

PlayFrame

I would also like to know

Just Ember

I'm just going to keep repping for Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, especially now that you've played Paper Mario TTYD, since Bug Fables is pretty much some indie devs going "you know what, if Nintendo won't create another game like TTYD, we'll just do it ourselves, with bugs and a surprisingly addictive card minigame!" The whole vibe of the game is just, so perfectly on brand for the channel.

Seraphem

I'd love for you to play moonlighter. I also think graveyard keeper would be really fun.

Renske van der Wal

Hustle Cat is a Dan & Carrie must play.

Username159

Ghost of Tsushima! Great game - I completed it in March, and think you might like it.

Lars Gottlieb

Is it alright to enter more than one game?

Mikkel Juel Gregersen

The first was a good play though so I’m recommending Horizon Forbidden west

S Kearney

You’re one of the few creators i would trust to do justice to a playthrough of Mother 3
