A Very Special Textbook Example is available!
Added 2025-09-08 10:39:26 +0000 UTCToday's Textbook Example is inspired by the often made claim that it's not possible to faithfully translate cultural references from Japanese into English.
To examine this, I've selected a strip from the Aho Girl manga. The Textbook Example page only includes the last two panels of the four panel strip (just in case of overzealous copyright claims) but it's not that hard to find the official English or scanlation versions of the source. For those interested, it's the first titled strip in chapter 4 of volume 1.
