2025-12-05 20:54:55 +0000 UTCI like the tone of the chapter. A lot of people are going to be pissed if the Wizard is the MC, which is obviously hinted that he is. But personally I liked the chapter. It never feels real when you have a goody two shoes MC. Like we live in the modern world, we know how fucked up are people in general. The good people are used and discarded by bad people, you have to know to be able to stand up and do things. Any weak minded MC would have been killed in a fantasy world without plot armor. So keep it up, love the story.

To be honest another person from earth who give up morally would be nice contrast and meaby villain. They would contrast mc by beging born at the bottom, giving up morality to survive, fighting for resources, beging a gamer instead of dev. Having skill tree from released game, wich will be more refined, updated, but more restrive due to game balance. I wonder how would they interact.

Aegon was against experimenting on bloodlines and on humans, because of morality and because it was related how Valyria has fallen. If MC continues with slavery another faceless cult may form, or factions against old Valyria may focus on him once they investigate. Aegon through story was slowly begin morally degrading but this is a big leap.

He doesen't have to be some saviour that people follow out of the good of their hearts and people flock to him like a god, but damn him controlling everyone out of straight mind slavery and with 100% fear is eh. If its limited to a select group that serves him, I'm fine w that. But if it goes further than that, what's stopping him from just murdering everyone who pisses him off lol and stepping over viserys/daemon and his other family brutally.

I'll be dropping the story... which is a shame... but if Aegon suddenly started randomly using slaves and human experiments in torture and murder because, you know morality and stuff is just something every MC has to automatically lose after a certain amount of chapters ot doesn't matter if it goes against what he did before right? then I'll drop it... I dearly hope this isn't Aegons doing or that there'll be some circumstances we don't know yet... with it as is? I don't know why you think this is a good turn for the story... os it just because he is a Valyrian? and all of them are by genetics psychopaths or something? please don't let this be what I think it is fuck... I really hope it's not that because the story would have gone from one of my favorites to in one chapter me almost certainly dropping it. this right here would be about as jarring for as if you were instead writing how Aegon just killed his grandparents and father to claim the throne... that's level of WTF I am at right now lmfao

Not only HOW did he possibly hide this and manage to sneak away from Royal minders to even set this all up. However the biggest thing is WHY???? Like how does Aegon go from "relatively normal guy okay suddenly sure driven to get stronger with classes" to "enslaving and torturing and murdering innocent people"? it isn't only the sailors and "knights" after all (those might well be criminals) but specifically innocent people too..?
