BUT, the original breaking news was Jay-Z partnering with the NFL to produce the Superbowl halftime show. That is what the backlash came from bc Jay-Z told other artists not to do the halftime show. That is what Eric Reid and Kaepernick’s girlfriend responded to. A day or two later, a rumor was released that Jay-Z is in talks of partially owning a team. Im sure they know Jay-Z owning a team would possibly benefit Kaep, but that wasnt the original news. 👌🏽
