Added 2017-05-01 22:03:00 +0000 UTCI had plans to draw something else today, though I'm having a bit of back pain before working. I did some cleaning up earlier today, nothing drastic, but it helped.
When I started this drawing, I didn't really have anyone in mind. Somewhere in the middle of it, I figured it'd just be the Bodyslider Girl - though her hair seems significantly less sticky-uppy than usual. For a while, I was unsure of what her colours would be - still am a bit unsure. I originally envisioned a strong red sweater, as you can see in older sketches - though I felt it was too visually striking, and made itself the focus, when it shouldn't be. So I decided on a simple, darker colour scheme that'd recede more compared to vibrant red.
I'll probably mess with it further, but there's really no rush.

Yeah I'm feeling a messenger bag. The scarf was something that was drawn before I decided to make it Bodyslide Girl, but I though it came out nice enough to keep it - there's this 'grand epic' quality that comes with the Scarf (which is why I draw Amaranth with it sometimes) and that's not quite the direction I want to go with her. I'm considering her being really tech-savvy, so a messenger bag is useful for holding stuff like that.
