Peridot's Fun in the Water

It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it came out looking better than I expected it to considering I wasn't getting what I wanted. I'm not sure the stylish cartoon face works well with the body, which has hints of realism in it. That's a sort of anachronism that's been present in my art before...
I'm a big fan of The Great and Lovable Peridot, probably because she's super cool like I am. My other favourite Gem from Steven Universe is probably Pearl.
Looking back on this, it would've been neat to try my hand at rendering actual moisture on Peridot's skin, but I don't know how it'd mix with my lines and colour. Something to experiment with in the near future then, huh?
