Afterword: Future Ideas for Patreon

As we move into my second year here on Patreon, and in light of the recent happenings with the service, it's a good time for reflection. With this particular post, I'd like to express some of the ideas I've been having lately; all of which are ideas that promote further engagement between you and I.

For the most part, pledging to me on Patreon has consisted almost entirely of sitting in silence until I posted something completely dependent upon my whims at that moment in time. Furthermore, I haven't offered any sort of meaningful or long-lasting interaction. I'd like to change this by providing a closer and more engaging sense of community, hopefully helping to make supporting me more enjoyable for you.

One of the easiest ways to facilitate such an environment is to give you a greater presence and sense of control over what I create. There are a few ways to do this without just outright being in charge of what I draw, and here are some of my ideas:

- Requests/Suggestions

The scope of what this entails is vast, but gives Patrons the ability to influence my content, helping to diversify what I'd ordinarily draw.

For example: at the start of the week, I'll provide a prompt element, such as a character, outfit, scenario, etc. to which Patrons may suggest additional details. I will then create with those ideas, building the week around a theme rather than leaving it to complete randomness. This also allows Patrons to suggest a character they really enjoy, but see me seldom draw, such as the Bodyslide Girl. Obviously, this could also be used for fetishes like hypnosis too. Shh.

For instance:

Character Prompt: brellomascot

Suggestion (Clothing & Scenario) Examples: 

• wearing a Chinese dress
• surprised by a sudden breast expansion
• believing in you
• cooking a meal at the beach

Clothing Prompt: Summer Bathing Suit

Suggestion (Character) Examples:

• Bodyslide Girl
• Dark Link
• Toph
• Magical Girl Neil

However, my Patreon is not intended to be a cheap proxy for commissions, so that's something to keep in mind. I may not be interested in some ideas, or able to fulfill EVERY request.

- Patron Suggested Prompt

In contrast to the previous concept, this idea involves YOU suggesting your own prompt - but with only a single word. This approach offers a different kind of creative process - allowing for more open & expressive creations. 

For instance:

Patron Prompt (Noun):
Machine, Mountain, Flower, Water, Ramen...

Patron Prompt (Emotions & Ideas):
Dead, Mystical, Anxiety, Calm, Change...

(drawn under such short notice, so these are mostly literal)

By providing a prompt using only one word, there's an element of surprise for both you and I. Anything can happen, perhaps offering an exercise in which I have to design a character or composition based on that word, whether it's a noun or idea.

- Bodyslide Transformation Poll

This certainly is the most potentially explicit idea of the bunch, and it's exactly what it sounds like.

Creating an ongoing scenario featuring the Bodyslide Girl, in which Patrons will collectively have control of her transformation. There would be voting rounds with options, such as: breasts, butt, belly, hair, etc -- and upon completion of a voting round, I'll create a before & after variant of the transformation. Then the next round comes, and so on.

This idea is pretty much inspired by something I saw another artist do, and it's honestly perfect for the Bodyslide Girl. However, I don't yet know exactly how I'd set the system up. It's still a fairly early concept.

- Concluding Thoughts

So these are some of my ideas, and I think they strike a good balance; allowing you to be involved with the creation of the content without me having a lack of control. This ensures that I create content you're personally interested in seeing, while still allowing me to have fun and do my own thing. Simply put, these ideas create a general atmosphere that allows both you and I to be a driving creative force on Patreon together.
