Reflection: April

I somehow managed to produce A LOT of art this month, way more than expected, especially with how discouraged I've been feeling about the career lately. Check the Dropbox Archive if you have not already done so, as there's a bunch of stuff in the NSFW Folder. Most of it was drawn purely for the fun of doing so.

Although I've been meaning to do so for a few months, I appreciate finally drawing this month's Early Access illustration. I do wish it was much better, however... I know these types of artworks do not please everyone, especially because they can take longer to make, but I think they have the potential to be much more interesting.

Plans for May

I'd like to spend a little time producing some actual concept art in the upcoming month. There have not been much concept-based content lately, so I'd like to make up for that. I do have a few small ideas I'd like to explore, even if only briefly.

Outside of that, I still plan to work on game development.

Update: Jaw

My jaw isn't experiencing as many severe effects anymore, but something still feel wrong. So I'll probably try to get it checked within the next few days. If any surgery is needed, it may impact future productivity.

Game Development

Progress has been slow while I work on a lot of small things that aren't easy for you to notice. It's a little unfortunate how difficult it is to provide value to you guys - it's not like a visual novel or game that can provide interesting content in installments mid-development.

I would like to send you guys a new demo sometime soon. That said, making new levels takes a bit of work - coming up with the concept as well as physically making it. It would be nice if I had a few extra tools to streamline the process.

Commissions

I've been too exhausted to keep doing commissions, but I do still need to do them because my income is abysmal. So I might try to collect one or two in the upcoming month.

Also, I have been considering the return of sketch commission streams. They'll probably be a bit simple in scope and cheaper than my usual commissions. The idea is to just have something I can casually do once or twice a month, assuming I have free time. I may use Discord to schedule such things ahead of time? Just an idea.
