It was kinda like reading a series of novels, where the publisher forces the author to explain the main character's backstory, explain how magic works in this world, and do the same worldbuilding in every single book in the series. "Just in case someone starts reading the series at book 6." Who the hell does that? Who is like, "you know, I'll start reading the Wheel of Time, but starting with BOOK SEVEN." I feel like editing for edge cases ruins stuff for the masses & actual fans.

2023-04-06 00:40:34 +0000 UTCOne thing that bothered me was the lack of continuity throughout this season. This was probably a problem with past seasons, but it particularly bothered me here. Every episode, they kept introducing the same race, as if it was the first time they introduced it! Since each episode tended to focus on a different group of people, it seems they felt forced to do the same intro over and over for the same events, maybe in case someone decided to watch the episodes out of order?
