sketch - poledance

Just a fairly quick sketch.

I really should do more analytical studies to brush up on what I'm not good at, but I find it difficult to start. Even with a reference on my second monitor, it doesn't seem ideal for study because I still have to look away to draw, but on the same monitor, I'm losing screen real estate! Tough...

Studies also take quite a bit of time... I have to find a way to make it work.

Something that helps me are life-drawing sessions on YouTube. There's the "Croquis Cafe" (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAZZ8kXStsAD_SJS9LWNdEQ)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAZZ8kXStsAD_SJS9LWNdEQ)</a> and New Master's Academy (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7EWYwaF6E-FZ8JiBlz2tF1DQUCw-GCmn)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7EWYwaF6E-FZ8JiBlz2tF1DQUCw-GCmn).</a> I particularly like Croquis Cafe because they're 30 min sessions, with enough videos that you can do on daily. (Please disregard this if you're already doing that)

Time is an investment like money. Time spent developing one's skills is a wise investment. A friend of mine once told me to start with what you feel worst at and focus on it, and then move on when you see some improvement to the next worst thing. It will help round out your skills.
