If I had to pick a single character out of the entire Castlevania franchise to call my favourite, it would probably be Carrie Fernandez. I've only drawn her a few times here and there. I wish she appeared in more games, perhaps even older than she previously was, but I doubt it would ever be.

Her only appearance was in Castlevania 64 (Legacy of Darkness), and although she was only 12, she was a descendant of the powerful witch Sypha (Castlevania III). Born into a family of Spanish immigrants, only to eventually become an Orphan because Dracula's kind of a jerk who kills a lot of people. She turns her back on God and resolves to destroy Dracula and all of his evil minions. Unlike the Belmonts, she uses magic as her primary weapon against evil -- and she's pretty much a magical girl.

A MAGICAL GIRL OUT TO KILL DRACULA. She's cool.
