A New Patreon Model: my ideas as they are currently

I've been spending several hours the last few nights determining the details for a new Patreon model, and I recently shared some of those ideas in the Discord Server. 

Some concerns were raised about whether I was trying to promise more than I could deliver without sacrificing my health. In truth, I DID have a lot of promises under the new model; way more than I currently do. So I re-assessed my ideas to streamline everything. My goal was to make each reward tier feel simple, but unique from one another. 

Here's an BRIEF overview of the ideas presented in the image above:

$ 3 - Early Bird Brells [SFW]

Emphasize Early Access, with a greater focus on comics.

• Comic Pages are the priority. Right now, it's Fem-Link comics.
• Non-canon stories are influenced by patrons via Voting Polls.
• Add. Illustrations include artworks that go beyond unrefined sketch.
• Patron Sketch Suggestions removed.

$ 7 - Sketchy Brells

Less assorted sketches. More development for my ideas & creative visions.

• Concept Art & Discussions for upcoming stories & ideas.
• Works-in-Progress for every comic page.
• Patrons suggest options to be used in Voting Polls.
• Monthly Dropbox Archive still present.

$ 10 - Off-Colour Brells [NSFW]

Self-indulgent pornographic art. The same premise, but with greater concentration.

• Patron Sketch Suggestions exclusive to $10 tier.
• As a result, more NSFW suggestions will be drawn.

For a while, the reward tiers have felt a bit amorphous. Every major tier has felt like the same general reward, simply spread across three different tiers, with various levels of quality. I really wanted to make each tier feel like it's own unique reward and less like a fragment of the whole experience, and thus easier to communicate.

As my ideas grew more ambitious, I had to remove perks, such as the $3 Sketch Suggestions, to maintain the quality of every reward tier and ensure I've enough time to do everything without sacrificing my well-being. Although they were only suggestions, and not an obligation, many of you might have really enjoyed that particular perk. I can understand this decision not being well-received.

The $10 Reward tier has always gotten the shorter end of the stick, with NSFW content being very infrequent. By making Sketch Suggestions a $10 exclusive, however, it helps to make sure more artwork based on NSFW suggestions are accepted, since it no longer has to compete for my attention. I won't have to worry about balancing between SFW & NSFW suggestions.

Writing scrips for comics is a time-consuming endeavor, so Voting Polls can help provide the framework for smaller, non-canon stories while larger stories are in development. This is sure to be significantly more interesting to most patrons, and should appease others during the wait for longer stories. I'd love to create stories for Elayne or Amaranth, but Zelda comics seem like the smarter decision. So those particular characters will have to wait, but may appear as Additional Illustrations & Projects in the future.

The $1 Reward tier is the same as it was before, but it was already pretty good. We'll just try to make that particular content more enjoyable by virtue of everything else being better.

Anyway, I suppose this is still subject to change. These are ideas as they CURRENTLY stand. I look forward to any feedback you can provide; do these new ideas work for you?
